Meme!

No, not THIS Mimi.

Meme...something that tells others about yourself in a fun way. I love it!

Here's one that everybody is posting, so I decided to join in the fun.

What you do is Google your name with "needs" next to it (i.e. Robert needs) and then post the top ten results you get.

1. Robert needs money.
2. Robert needs fashion work experience.
3. Robert needs a sanctuary.
4. Robert needs a family that will participate in Robert's interests.
5. Robert needs information which can help him increase the efficiency of a business.
6. Robert needs PR - not public relations but perspective.
7. Robert needs to travel for work.
8. Robert needs very attentive supervision in situations where strangers or others
could take advantage of his need to please or receive attention.
9. Robert needs a title, position, influence, authority and paycheck to go with his
position, influence and authority in the world.
10. Robert needs to be remembered.

Gay Day at Starbucks

Must be gay day at Starbucks this morning as I saw nothing but queens buying their morning lattes. Where do y'all queens hide during the day as I see nothing but middle-America straight folks most of the time in this conservative city of ours???

Letter to the Spammers Family

Dear Spammers,

Hi! How are you? Hope you are having a great day filling up peoples' email boxes full of shit just so that you can make some money. Kinda funny and sad what great lengths people will go to for the almighty dollar, huh? I bet I can probably offer money to some poor macho super-straight guy for a b.j., h.j., etc. and he would probably do it. Sad but true. But I digress...

I decided to write to you because I'm sick and tired of you posting your spam in my comments section. The comments section is only for witty people such as myself to pass the time and share with each other the happenings of our everyday lives. Not to be selling your crap or to talk about nothing but gibberish as if you have a bad case of schizophrenia.

So I am asking nicely to stop it before I enroll you in every single email subscription to "Hot Gay Guys In Leather....Panties" or "Fat Hairy Men Spanking Other Men On The Ass" as vengeance.

Have a great day!

Me

Showing My Cancer Ways Today

I'm SO having a Cancer day today. I'm especially moody for no reason whatsoever. Perhaps it's my male/gay version of PMS.

Overheard

Overheard from my office where I work: A girl and a couple of guys talking out in the hallway, and the girl goes, "It smells like Michaels' around here. You know like that dried flowers and stuff when you walk into that store."

She was talking about my recently painted, carpeted, decorated, eucalyptus-filled office which I decorated myself..from Michaels. I'll take her comment as a compliment. :)

Calgon Take Me Away!!!

Let's take a look at today, shall we?

  • I was almost rear-ended (not the good kind) on the way to work. Luckily, I moved out of the way just in time before the car hit mine. Unfortunately, the car in front of me got it from them instead.
  • On my way to a going-away lunch for a coworker, not only did it rain on me on my walk over to P.F. Chang's but I also got a lovely bath from a passing city bus.
  • At P.F. Chang's sitting there drenched with road goo from the bus incident, I tried to use chopsticks and ended up dropping my food on my crotch. Did I mention this food was fish???
  • Back at work, while printing a one-page document, my printer decided to go crazy on me by printing a lot of this: dfa4r35$%$*(&#$(&8(&c(*&(*&d(*&sjkdafjoejacpejrnck;jda$*)$, over and over and over. Page after page. Even after rebooting my computer and printer, it kept going.
So when I take my dirty fish-smelling ass home today, I'm going to huff and puff on a cigarette like there's no tomorrow and lock myself away in my apartment until morning, when it all starts again.

Pathetic

I'm such a sad and pathetic boy because the two things I'm looking forward to this weekend is payday on Friday and to continue my cross stitching.

That's sad.

Top 100 Songs of 1995

I got this little project from Jeff...just something to pass the time. I'm a trivia FREAK so I love this type of shit. :)

Go to musicoutfitters, and do a search for the year you graduated from high school. One of the first links should be a list of the top 100 songs from that year. Copy them to a editing program then indicate how you feel about them:
-Bold the ones you actually like (understand that the word "like" in this case means, at the very least, you wouldn't immediately change the radio station if it came on.)
-Strikethru the ones you loathe. (I DON'T KNOW HOW TO STRIKETHRU SO I'LL JUST PUT THE WORD "YUCK" NEXT TO IT)
-Italicize the ones you consider to be guilty pleasures.
Leave as plain text, any you can't remember or never knew.
Finally, underline your one favorite.

Weekends and Cross Stitching

I'm probably the only person in the whole world that does not look forward to the weekends. Why, you may ask? Or better yet, "What the fuck is wrong with you stupid loser?", you may ask. Well, sit down boy and girls for a little story.

By nature, I'm the type of person who has to always be doing something challenging. Something that keeps me going mentally and/or physically. I don't have enough at home to keep me busy. And going out with friends means spending $$$, $$$ which I am desparately saving to move to Missouri in a few years.

So I come in to work and work like it's a weekday. The only good thing about weekends is that I don't have to get up at 5 am to go to work. I can sleep til noon like I did today and come in at 2 pm if I want to.

John as well as my boss (who made me promise her that I wouldn't come in to work this weekend. SHHH! Don't tell her that I'm here!) told me to get a hobby. Which is what I did. I decided to start cross stitching. Yeah, old lady stuff. I was interested in crotcheting but that's just too hard. So like an old lady just coming home from bingo playing, I am eager to begin my cross stitching project. Hopefully my self-diagnosed ADD won't interfere with that and allow me to sit still long enough to do this.

Toodles y'all!

People's problems are NOT mine!!!

I'm getting so sick and tired of people telling me their sad sad life stories and problems that they have. Everybody seems to come to me for an ear to listen. But you know what? I'm not emotionally stable myself to be listening (much less taking on) other peoples problems. When people tell me bad stuff about their lives, I get SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO down about it that I basically think about it all day, as if it were MY problems and issues.

Is it wrong of me to just avoid all these people altogether?

John keeps telling me to just listen to people's problems but after the conversation is done, don't give it a second thought. Easier said than done.

I noticed that everybody seems to be down today, too. Nothing but negativity in the air.
