If I were a girl...

...I'd SO be rockin' this shirt.

From Gawker's website:

Whether you're making eyes on Broadway or stealing husbands in Southampton, you know you've got the goods: a great face, a killer body, and something irresistible hiding in your pants. Like Diana Bianchi, you're a hot piece of twat -- and you're not stopping at Peter Cook. So why not let the world know what kind of heat you're packing? With our new 100% cotton super soft shirt by American Apparel, you'll snare yourself a new job, a nice car, and a supermodel's husband in no time.

A co-worker when I used to work at American Eagle once asked, "Why is it when guys want to act or dress like girls, they do it in such a slutty way?" Good question. One for a philosophy course.

Call me crazy...

...but I like Paris Hilton's new song "Stars Are Blind." It has a good beat and you can dance to it.

The older you get, the faster time flies and other random thoughts...

Ain't that the truth. Now that I'm older, I understand why my mom kept saying, "The older you get, the faster time flies.", as she sighs and notices that she still has 1001 things left to do and the day is almost over. Thursday already. Geez. 4 days shy of August. Geez Geez. 4 more months til Christmas. GEEZ!!!

All is well here in Robert's world. I am sitting here at work with nothing to do than surf the Hollywood gossip blogs or cause problems in forums. Tee hee. It's so easy to get people worked up for my own amusement. Bad! I really should go to church to confess, but I highly doubt the priest has a full 24 hours to hear me go on and on on what a bad boy I have been, especially since I've moved to Phoenix.

We got pounded (tee hee) with rain a couple of nights ago. My 'hood got 2.50 inches of rain. It was beautiful. When it rains in Arizona people get so happy and excited, I being one of them. It hadn't rain here since early March. We had to deal with 118 degree heat for a couple of days, which was a nightmare. Who needs a shower when I can just drench myself with sweat. Will someone pass me the Pantene? Thanks. Now with the rains, it's hot and humid. I prefer a dry heat. I don't know how Midwesterners and Southerners deal with the humidity. No thank you. I'll stay put.

That's it for my random ramblings for today.

I don't know how to title this post. :)

Ugh! I just woke up after a long 12 hour beauty sleep, thanks to the wonderful invention of the sleeping pill. However, my obvious disatisfaction of this product (hence my "ugh!") is due to 1.) I can't seem to fully wake up when I take it and 2.) I have crazy ass dreams when I take sleeping pills. I mean, REALLY, crazy ass dreams that if I were to post them in my blog y'all be calling the local mental hospital right away! So I am not going to go there.

Brian is at work right now delivering freight for his job in 118 degree heat. Poor sweetheart. He doesn't complain either. He's one in a million I tell ya! Heart of gold and sexy to boot! :)

Little princess Robert, however, got to sleep in late and just sit his sorry ass in front of the computer drinking coffee with the AC blasting. Don't hate! Unlike Brian, I have to clean dirty bathrooms, do laundry, dust, mop, cook, etc. in our humble abode. I have to give props to the housewives of the world, especially my mother, who I never appreciate all that she did for us until now, now that I've become her.

It's noon my time, and I'm still here in my jammies surfing the internet for porn insightful intellectual articles. I really should get to my wife duties rather than dreaming of sexy hot guys pondering in deep thought everything that crosses my mind. One of the things I have thought about is to re-do my blog by changing the name and it's purpose. "The Gay Spot" is rather bland & generic, and not everything that happens in my life is gay related nor have a gay theme to it. I am always observing and thinking about life, sometimes overly so. So I thought about changing my site's title to "Life's Observations". Anything and everything that I see or think about would be posted here. I'm also not a very gifted writer like Jeff, Hot Toddy or Michael Guy. Shit, even my vocabulary is limited to a 4th grade level. I even thought about closing my blog altogether. The pressure of constantly being witty and write wonderful entries daily is always on my mind. But I have put over a year of time on this blog, pretty good for someone who always thinks about good shit, but never has the vocabulary or the energy to actually post it. By changing the focus to life's observations, I can write witty and sometimes strange one liners (or more if I'm in the mood) about life. Maybe one day when I'm older I can look back at all my entries and smile about all the crazy shit that crossed my mind. So we'll see...

For now, I must turn off this blasted time-consuming computer and actually get some real work done. Have a good weekend all. :)

Sorry for the lack of updates. It's been quiet here. Too quiet....

COOLEST. VIDEO. AND. SONG. EVER!!!

Finally! A Day Off!

I have a much needed day off from work today. Last night I drank two sleeping pills in hopes that I could sleep in til at least 10 am. No such luck. As my baby left for work, he kissed me goodbye on the lips as I was still asleep (a la Sleeping Beauty), and woke me up as I was mumbling crazy shit about my dreams last night. He didn't say anything. How does one respond to a half-asleep fool talking gibberish about a nuclear missile striking a K-Mart in my old hometown while I desperately was searching for my car in the parking lot?

Speaking of my car, it is finally fixed! My wallet is $500 lighter, but Hallelujah, it's fixed! Turns out it was a fuel pressure regulator. I won't go into detail the mechanical details as to what a fuel pressure regulator does as the majority of my blog audience is either gay men or women. I'm a "one in a million" gay man as I am mechanically inclined....still a novice amongst the auto tech circles...but still know my way around an engine. If interested on the wonderful exciting life of the fuel pressure regulator, you can contact your local library or do a google search.

I seriously have a bad case of ADHD today as I'm just jumping from topic to topic. So let's get back on track...back to my day off. I'm taking Little Red Riding Hood to get her oil changed as I promised her I wouldn't let her get sick on me again. After that, God knows what I'm going to do. A day off is sometimes a curse as I get bored silly at home, but at the same time I don't want to go to work. Shopping is out of the question as I'm becoming very frugal with my money. Window shopping is such a tease....I don't do window shopping. It's like dangling a carrot in front of my nose with no chance of getting a taste of it. No thank you. So I guess I'll be a good housewife, come home and clean, watch "Days of Our Lives" or "The Bold and The Beautiful" while I eat Bonbons. Maybe catch some Oprah or Tyra Banks (HEY GIRLFRIENDS! *SNAP* *SNAP*)

But for now, off to porn surfing I go. Toodles! :)

I'm have not disappeared nor am I dead

I've just been busy. Stupid work. And since I'm no longer a single bachelor, I now have the duties and responsibilities of a house wife (in addition to having an 8-5 job).

Let's see, last I updated was near my birthday last week. Well to me it was just another day. However, as I said this to Brian, he said, "Not to me it isn't." Ok, fine. He asked me what I wanted to do for my birthday. I said that dinner at my favorite restaurant will be just fine.

"That's it???", he said.

Yes that's it.

"I can take you out wherever you want."

No dinner and then coming home is just fine

"But it's your special day!"

It's just another day for me.

"Don't you want to go somewhere."

Just dinner and then come home, thank you.

At this point he was pissing me off. He meant well, but as a Cancer, he must understand that I don't really like going out. Never have. Maybe once in a blue moon, but for the most part I'd rather be at home.

So we went to dinner, and came home. I had 3 long-islands iced teas, so I was beyond buzzing. As soon as we got back home, I went to bed and passed out til the next day.

Happy 29th to me. :)

For my next post.....how my good friend and boss pissed me off to the point where I am leaving her department for another one. Stay tuned...
