One of life's lessons

Lesson learned: Do NOT ever burn any bridges or upset any people (especially in a work setting) as you never know when you may need their help in the future.

In a nutshell, I counted my eggs before they were hatched, so to speak, when I found out my morning department wanted to make me full-time (I currently work half-time there, and half-time at another department). After I found out about my new full-time job, I began basically being a little jerk to my supervisor (who can sometimes be a controlling bitch) since I knew I was leaving that department. Well, I just found out that there was a slight snag in my new full-time position as the budget for my salary has yet to get fully approved, which of course will delay my move to who knows when. As i said, lesson learned.
