Merry Christmas!!!

T-minus 2 hours until I am on the road for a 5 hour drive to visit the folks. Then my honey bunnies will be here on Monday for a week!

Creepy

I made the mistake last night of looking for weird stuff on the net. Stuff that 100% scares the shit out of me. Sometimes I listen to EVPs (electronic voice phenomenon, where voices of ghosts can be heard on a tape) and end up regretting it because like a scared child, I can't sleep at night without wanting my mommy or a night light.

So last night, out of boredom and curiousity and of course entertainment, I did some research on Ouija boards and something called "Backmasking", which is basically playing songs backwards to search for subliminal messages, and most of the time evil stuff.

I was so fascinated by it (not in a psychotic occult satanist kind of way) that I ended up not going to bed until 1 am. But once in bed, I wanted a night light, my mommy, and a teddy bear. Scared shitless I tell ya! Listen to the song, "Stairway to Heaven" by Led Zeppelin. CREEPY!!!

Anyway, just thought I'd share.

Since I'm bored to tears in the office right now, I decided to continue with a few more of my favorite things.

My Brush With Fame (sorta)

On Wednesday, my boss called me in a meeting she was already in with a couple of people from the Grants & Contracts office concerning space (i.e. how many rooms we have, square footage, who is in what room, purpose of room, etc.). I didn't want to go since I had already came in an hour late and had so much to do, but I kept my mouth shut since I was not in the mood to argue.

I walked in to the meeting and introduced myself to the individuals from G&C. Stuart and Anne are their names. However, there was something very familiar about Anne. Did I go to high school with person? College? Who is she? She look SO familiar. So the meeting continued and didn't think much more about Anne and where I may have seen her before. Two hours later, the meeting was over (finally!) and I went back to work.

On Thursday morning, I began thinking about Anne again. Since we have access to everybody's personnel info here at my job, I decided to do a little bit of research on Anne. Maybe her last name would jog my memory.

Suddenly, just like a lightbulb turning on. I knew where I've seen her! Anne was on the 5th season of Road Rules on MTV! Girl, shut up! What the hell is she doing in this God forsaken place I work at? Run, girl, run!

Anyway, if I knew that as soon as I met her, I wouldn't have been like those crazy fans/psychos that get all frazzled upon seeing a star. She is just another human being after all. Besides, those reality stars (for the most part) just want to be left alone.

Concentration

I'm having a hard time concentrating today. Like a kid in desperate need of Ritalin, I am going back and forth between surfing the net, work, and taking breaks to smoke a cigarette. Even when I'm reading something online or work-related, I have no idea what I just read as my mind is just jumping from topic to topic every second.

Hope this isn't a sign of old age. Or all the years of chronic smoking is taking it's toll.

Note to self...

Students find sex video of teacher

A video production teacher took school equipment home and made a sex tape his students later viewed, school and police officials said Thursday in Phoenix.

Sam Hernandez, who also teaches English immersion at Shadow Mountain High School, is on paid administrative leave, said Paradise Valley Unified School District officials.

Hernandez taped himself and a woman having sex under covers, said Judi Willis, a district spokeswoman.

Hernandez used school equipment and likely accidentally left the tape in the video camera when he brought it back to school, Willis said.

"Several" students shooting a class project found the 45-minute tape Monday and watched it, Willis said.

"When they rewound it to look at their footage, they saw his footage," she said.

One of the students, who was not identified, reported what he had found to his stepfather, who called the school to complain.

The district, the Arizona Department of Education and the Phoenix Police Department are investigating.

Hernandez could face charges of furnishing harmful materials to a minor, said police spokeswoman Sgt. Lauri Williams.

As far as using school equipment to tape sex acts, "it may be against the school’s policy, but that’s not against the law," Williams said.

Ghosts?

So during Halloween with all those crazy ghost shows on the television, I decided to do a bit of ghost hunting in my apartment. I was surprised that I do have a ghost there! Look at the orbs. Creepy huh?
