Having flown there several times to visit John, and driven by on my way back from Kentucky, I have to agree that St. Louis is ghetto with a capital G.

Way back when, I worked at a radio station in Columbia, MO, and made it to St. Louis quite often. It scared me then, too.
i wonder where phoenix is on that list; I hear tell we are the 'dumbest' state, which I am apt to believe is so.
